2 weeks

Well, it has been two weeks since Baby Kate came home. She is getting great reports from her doctors because she is so strong and gaining weight very well. She had a busy week last week meeting all of her family: Gigi, Poppy, Grannie, Papa, Boompa, Grandma, Jana, Aunt Mer, Aunt Lissa, Aunt Jessie, Uncle Chris, Darryn, Nathan and Lindsay (oh yes, Rosco and Lizzy, too). Kate also had her first Skype with Taj and Deni. She is looking forward to her visit to Duchesne next month.

We are so grateful for all of the wonderful comments for Kate. We love to read them. Kate will cherish these when she is older.

11-11 Make a Wish

Well, we just got home to Houston with little baby Kate. We had a wonderful weekend getting to know our little girl. Now that we are home, we mostly spend our time watching her sleep and congratulating her on finishing her bottles.

We feel so blessed to be the parents of such a beautiful bundle of joy. We are so very grateful for the wonderful gift of adoption. We want to thank our friends and family for the prayers and support.

We cannot wait for Kate to meet everyone.
